about

this music explores the parallels between colonial dispossession and modern capitalism.
characteristics:

- sampling represents commodification of human expression and narrative
- technological sounds represent cybernetics and capitalism
- natural sounds represent human expression and resistance
- density of the music represents the confusion, and discombobulation of settler-colonial capitalism
- although the sampling represents commodification, it is also a deconstruction of commodified expression, especially those samples that were used as tools of the state in their original contexts

Although we view colonization as a thing of the past, it still still exists within modern cybernetic capitalism. colonization happens through constant flows of information commodifying all of our mental spaces, as well is within physical space.
